Your Quote List

This is not an online checkout. Nothing is charged here and no card details are ever asked for. You build a list, we call you back with availability and today’s price, and the order is confirmed by phone or WhatsApp.

Step 1 of 2

What you have picked so far

Adjust the quantities until the list looks right. The quantities and any amounts shown here are only a guide for the conversation — the price we confirm on the phone is the price you pay. Your list is kept in this browser only; we cannot see it until you send it to us.

Your quote list is empty

Nothing has been added yet. Browse the farm store and tap “Add to quote” on anything you want us to price for you. Anything you saved earlier is on your saved items page.

Three ways to order

Talk to us however suits you

Sending the list through this website is the slowest of the three. If you need an answer today, call or send a WhatsApp message — someone at Plot 12 Sherwood will pick it up during farm hours.

Call the farm

Best for bulk quantities, cutting instructions and anything you want confirmed on the spot. Ask for availability and the price of the day.

Message on WhatsApp

Send your list as a message, add a photo or a voice note, and we reply with what is in the pens and in the store right now. Handy if you are placing a repeat order.

Email your list

Right for written quotations, schools, lodges, butcheries and anyone who needs the order on paper before they can pay for it.

What happens next

From list to loaded bakkie

There is no card machine in this website. This is the whole process, start to finish.

  1. Step 1

    You build the list

Add what you need from the store, set rough quantities and send it through. Nothing is committed and nothing is paid at this point.

  2. Step 2

    We call you back

Sales checks what is actually ready — the pens, the store and the lands all move week to week — then confirms quantities and the price for your order.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the quote

You get the confirmed list with the agreed price, and the payment arrangement is settled directly with the farm. Only then is your order booked in.

  4. Step 4

    Collection or delivery

Collect at the farm during farm hours, or arrange delivery when we confirm the order. Bulk meat orders are cut to your instructions.

The one price we can publish

Most of what leaves this farm is priced on the day it is sold. Pork in bulk is the exception — that rate is fixed, so you can add it to your list and know exactly where you stand.

Fresh pork, bulk orders

From our own piggery, through our own butchery. Bulk orders only at this rate — tell us the weight you need and how you want it cut.

Everything else: call for the day’s price

Vegetables, maize and milling, chicken and eggs, feed, chicks, seedlings and manure all move with the season and the harvest. Put them on your list anyway — we will price them when we call.

See what is ready this week

We post what is coming out of the pens, the store and the lands on Facebook before it sells out. Worth a look before you send your list.
